- 200g of Beef or Pork sliced
- 4 Potato(large)
- 1 Onion(medium)
- ½ pack Shirataki(strings konnyaku)
- 1 carrot
- 1 tbsp of cooking oil
- 1½ cup of water
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Peel the potato, cut lengthwise into 4 wedges.
- Peel the carrot, cut slaw wise while rolling carrot.
- Cut the beef or pork into 4cm pieces.
- Rinse the shirataki in water, cut into 5-6cm lengths and boil for few minutes.
- Cut the onion lengthwise into 4-6wedges.
- Cooking:
- Heat oil in a pot, and fry the beef or pork, Add the shirataki, onion, carrot, and potatoes, and fry until their surfaces absorb oil.
- Add the water to the pot, bring to the boil.
- Over high heat, Reduce the heat, add the sugar and sake. and simmer for 5min, and add the mirin, soy sauce, and simmer until all the liquid is gone.
