Here’s the Top 10 Favorite Sushi in Japan. I took a survey from 100 people and asked them what’s your favorite Sushi. And this was my results from the survey taken.
1. Maguro Sushi Is at the Top at the number 1 Spot. This was no doubt that this was going to be number from the beginning. It’s my favorite also, as well as my kids.
2. Coming at number 2 spot is Uni Sushi(Sea urchin), I was not surprise with this one.
3. At number 3 we have Ikura Sushi(Salmon eggs). This one gave a close one between the number 2 spot Uni sushi.
4. At the number 4 spot we have Anago Sushi(Salt water eel). Here’s another on of my favorite to eat, at a sushi restaurant.
5. Awabi Sushi(Abalone) come in number 5, one of the most expensive sushi. Depends where you go in Japan. My hubby just love this one.
6. Bintoro Sushi(Pink Tuna) comes in at number 6. My kids just loves this sushi.
7. Akagai Sushi(Red Calm) I was a little surprise of this one, I don’t really eat this one much. But it came in at number 7 on the list.
8. Salmon Sushi(Salmon) comes in at number 8. I think if I did a survey from only children in Japan this would in the Top 3 I think.
9. Ibe Sushi(Shrimp) comes in at number 9. Another one that could be in the top 3 with the kids.

love reading your blog.Because i love food lol 😛
This is one of the best cooking blogs ever! I’ll be sure to try some of these types of sushi. It’s nice to know what other people like, that way I know what’s popular and I’ll probably like those too. Nice post.
I also love Japanese foods especially sashimi. And also the smell of wasabi which soothes deep in your brain. Whewww!!! I love it!!! Nice post! Cheers!!!

I LOVE love maguro, too!
Also,I would love to exchange links. Let me know if you’re interested.
My pick would have been maguro too 😀 and salmon next haha
Thanks a lot for the post!
Just found your blog and know I will love it. Great article, I would put #3 as #1 and move everything down, haha! I love Ikura, good brain food.
I just learned that maguro is the Japanese word for blue fin tuna. I think this is very popular and the most commonly eaten fish when it comes to sushi dining even outside Japan. It’s even a personal favorite. My second top pick though is Salmon tuna which surprisingly comes number 8 in the survey. Getting a survey outside Japan would also be great.
