- 200g flour, sifted
- 1 egg yolk
- 70g sugar or powder sugar
- ⅓ tsp cinnamon
- ⅓ tsp ginger powder
- ¼ tsp cloves
- 100g soft butter
- vanilla
- 3 tbsp powder sugar for icing
- 1-2 drop color water for icing
- Beat butter and sugar together in a bowl.
- Add egg yolk and vanilla and beat mixture until it is smooth.
- Add flour and spices, mixing everything together to form smooth dough.
- Mold dough into bowl wrap, in plastic film, and leave in a fridge for 30 min.
- Roll dough until it is about 5㎜ thick on a surface sprinkled with flour. Cut into shapes.
- Bake for about 20 min at 170- 180℃ until golden.
- Mix icing sugar and water, draw faces on the cookies.
