Cooking Japanese Style we have a recipe called Deep Fried White Fish or 白身魚のフライ in Japanese. This is one of my hubby’s favorite dishes to make, because he likes eating fish. I only make fish when the hubby buys the fish and he has to clean it too. lol I’m not good at cleaning a fish yet, but I’m learning. Well, I hope you enjoy the video as well as this recipe.
Ingredients
300g white meat fish
1 beaten egg
flour
bread crumbs
For Tartar sauce:
1 hard boiled egg
6tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp fine chopped onions
1 tbsp milk
salt and pepper
Instructions
Make to tartar sauce: Chop the hardboiled egg (white part). Combine the egg, mayonnaise, milk, salt and pepper and mix well.
Cut the white meat fish into bite-size pieces and sprinkle the salt and pepper lightly.
Coat with flour, beaten egg and then bread crumbs. Deep- fry at 170℃ until crispy. Serve with tartar sauce.

I love Japanese cuisine; it’s the reason why the natives lived so long on the island- a great quality of life
I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and now living in Osaka, Japan. I have been in Japan for about 12 yrs now and loving every single moment of my life here in a beautiful country. I’m a English teacher here in Japan and on spare I'm a Food blogger, and gamer. I have been cooking for the pass 15 years, but still not at the level that I want to be. In the pass 4 – 5 years wanting to learn more about Japanese food and how they prepared them as an art form instead of something there for you to eat.
