- 500 cc milk
- 80 cc honey
- 1 vanilla beans, tear in lengthwise and take off the seed
- 5 egg yolk
- 75g granules sugar
- 250 cc fresh cream
- Put the milk, honey and vanilla beans in a pot and over a heat, when it boiled turn off the heat and let stand for 5 min. Then strain.
- Put the egg yolk and sugar in a bowl and mix well. Warm the milk honey mixture again and pour half quantity into a egg yolk and sugar mixture and mix well. And back into the pot again and over a low heat until thicken while stir-mix. Turn off the heat and add the fresh cream.
- Soak the bottom of pot in cold water, put the mixture into Ice creamer and place in the freezer. If you don’t have “Ice Creamer”, put it into stainless steel container and cover with plastic film into freezer. Let stand for 3 hours. When it whole hardens, mix with hand mixer until smoothly. Then place the freezer again. This process is repeated a few times.
Hey I have never tasted any Ice cream which has honey flavor but I would like to taste it.This seems very easy to make this Ice cream and it does not require so many ingredients.
This comment belowgs to the Banana Balsamic Honey Recipe (I had some problems posting the comment….)
That looks absolutely amazing! I love recipes that mix fruit with something unexpected like balsamic vinegar. My husband would not let me prepare any recipe that had add combinations so my task is now to prove that I am not the only person who would make a recipe that includes fruit, balasamic vinegar and maybe even black peppar….
