- 300g ground chicken
- 1 green onion, cut into finely chop
- ¼ cabbage, cut into finely strips
- 1 knob grated ginger
- 2 portion cooked rice
- 2 tsp sake
- 2 tsp starch
- pickled ginger (strips type)
- toasted sesame
- vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Place the ground chicken, green onion, ginger, starch and sake in a bowl, and knead well, and rolling to small ball pieces.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan, and bake the chicken meat ball. When cooked the chicken meat balls, add the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar and fry- simmer until almost liquid is gone.
- Put the cooked rice in a dish bowl, put the cabbage, and put the chicken meat balls on top. Sprinkle the sesame and garnish with pickled ginger.
I’m a big fan of rice and this is another must-try recipe. Chicken is my kids’ favorite so I’ll definitely serve them this dish soon. Thanks again.
