- 2 cups of rice
- 300g of chestnuts (kuri)

- 1½ cup of water
- 1 tbsp of mirin
- 1 pinch of salt

- 1 tbsp of mirin
- 1 tbsp of Japanese sake
- ½ tsp of salt

- black roosted sesame seeds
- Wash the rice for 30 min before cooking.
- Boil the chestnuts for 2-3 min. then peel and cut in half ( if large size…)
- Put the water, mirin, salt and chestnuts into a large pot and boil for about 5 min and take off the scum then Drain.
- Put the rice, mirin, sake, salt and water for 2 scale line in a rice cooker. Add the chestnuts and cook as usual. Arrange then on a plate or rice bowl, sprinkle the black sesame to your taste.
