Good Morning Everyone, it’s an ugly day today. Typhoon 6 looks like it’s coming later this evening, strong winds and off and on showers. Well that will not stop us for enjoying cooking.
- 200g beef and pork ground meat
- ½ onion
- ½ carrot
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 caned tomato sauce
- 1 laurier
- nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 200g spaghetti
- minced parsley
- cheese powder
- Cut the onion and carrot into a finely chop. Heat the oil in a pan and add the ground meat and fry. When it become the change color, add the onion and carrot, then fry. Add the caned tomato sauce, nutmeg, and laurier, and simmer until 20-30 min. Season with salt and pepper.
- Boil the spaghetti in amble water with salt.and drain.
- Place the spaghetti on a plate, and pour the meat sauce over the top. Sprinkle the minced parsley and cheese powder.

Hi Naoko,
I love reading your recipes. I would like to know if the pasta with meat sauce is the same as the one served in so many of the restaurants in Japan. I just loved eating Japanese spaghetti and have been trying to find the recipe for years.
