Good Afternoon Everyone, it’s going to be a very busy weekend for us. We were ask to help out with some of the cooking for the Summer Festival in Takatsuki, so this maybe a little short in the text area. Today’s recipe on Cooking Japanese Style is for all you Oyster Fans out there called Oyster with Ponzu Butter Saute or かきポンバター in Japanese. My hubby just love his Oysters and this one of his favorites, when ever he get his hands on fresh Oysters. Very easy to make and very delicious.
- 200g oyster
- salt and pepper
- flour
- 1 long green onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 10g butter
- 1 tbsp PONZU
- little of granules soup stock
- Japanese chili powder your choice
- Wash the oyster and drain on the sieve, and wipe with kitchen paper gently. Sprinkle the salt and pepper and dust the flour.
- Cut the long green onion into 4㎝ length pieces, and garlic into thinly slice.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan, fry the garlic. When the garlic become to good flavor, add the long green onion and fry, and cooked, transfer to some dish. Put the oyster into a same frying pan and sauté, add the ponzu and granules soup stock.
- Arrange the oyster on a dish, garnish with long green onion. Sprinkle the japanese chili powder your choice.
