Hello everyone. Another super hot day here with no wind blowing, had a long day at work too. (What a day….) When you have a bad day, cheer your self up by cooking something great in the kitchen to get your mind off the hot day. Today’s recipe on Cooking Japanese Style is a dish called Stir-fry with Beef and Asparagus or 牛肉とアスパラガスの炒め物 in Japanese. Recently I haven’t made any recipe using asparagus, since they look like to be in season now, I thought I try this recipe using asparagus. Very delicious and this should be a recipe to try for the family.
- 100g sliced beef
- 240g asparagus
- 2 tbsp soy milk
- 1 tbsp miso
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Chop the tough ends of the asparagus and remove the scales, peel the hard skin and cut into 3 equal pieces. Cut the beef into bite size pieces. Combine the soy milk, miso and sugar in a bowl and mix.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the asparagus. Add the beef and fry. Seasoning with combined soy milk, miso, and sugar.
