Hi everyone, here’s one of the Diet Recipe I have start with and my diet started this pass Monday. So It’s been a week so far, I weighted my self on Friday and it looks like I lost 1kg. Hoping to lose a couple more so that I can get into my jeans. lol So today’s recipe on Cooking Japanese Style is called Chicken with Basil Sauce or 鶏肉のバジルソース in Japanese. This is a very light dish, that I liked very much and yes the family is also eating the same thing. I hope you enjoy this dish and I will see you tomorrow for my next Diet Recipe. - 100g × 2 chicken thigh
- little of salt and pepper for chicken
- 2 leaves lettuce
- 2㎝ carrot
- 3g basil
- A: For Basil sauce
- 2 tbsp grain mustard
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 4 tsp white wine vinegar
- ⅓ tsp sugar
- little of salt and pepper (your taste)
- Sprinkle the salt and pepper on the chicken.
- Cut the basil into mince. Combine the all ingredients of sauce “A”, add the basil and mix well.
- Cut the lettuce into bite-size pieces and carrot into in rectangles and boil until tender.
- Grill the chicken in oven toaster for about 5-8 min.
- Arrange the chicken and pour the sauce on chicken. Garnish with lettuce and carrot.
