Hello everyone. Hope that your week has been going great so far and looking forward to the weekend. Well, it’s been a very long time sine I have posted a dessert recipe. I was a t work this pass week and one of my co-works said she baked her pumpkin pie and she wanted me to share it on my blog. So I said sure, she wrote down the recipe and went home that day to bake a fresh pie so that she can take a picture to send to me and here we have it. I our house we haven’t bought an oven yet, but the hubby is looking for one for our kitchen. One problem though, where to put it. lol
- 350g pumpkin
- 1 tbsp sugar for steam the pumpkin
- 1 tbsp water for steam the pumpkin
- 30g sugar
- 1 egg
- 30g butter
- 1 tbsp milk
- 3 sheets pastry for pie( selled in store)
- Cut the pumpkin into bite-size and peel. Put the pumpkin into a bowl and add the water and sugar and microwave on 5 min cover with plastic film.
- Put the steamed pumpkin into a pot, add the egg, butter, sugar, and milk and mix well while a low a low heat.
- Put the pastry in a pie plate, and pour the pumpkin mixture, and cover with other pastry sheet. Brush on the beaten egg( other amount) to top of the pie pastry.
- Bake in oven at 200℃ for 25min
