Japanese Bento Tip Series #5 Chikuwa with stuffed Cucumber

Today’s bento tip is making chikuwa with stuffed cucumber. This is very simple and only take minutes to make. If you need a space filler this recipe is a very good method to use.
Ingredients
  • 2 sticks of chikuwa
  • half of a Japanese cucumber

Instructions
  1. First we will cut the cucumber into four long strips(in halves).
  2. Next we are going to slide the cucumber into the center of the chikuwa.
  3. Lastly cut the chikuwa into 3 pieces, then cut each piece diagonally in half. Your done.
