Here’s another great bento tip for space fillers and healthy cause we are using broccoli. Doesn’t everyone love broccoli? Well, it will give a good balance in your lunch box with any main added. This is very easy to make and doesn’t take that long to make. Enjoy
Ingredients
  • 4 pieces of broccoli
  • 1 pieces of ham or bologna
  • 1 pasta stick
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • *tools
  • cherry blossom cutter or sakura cutter

Instructions
  1. Firstly we need boil the broccoli in a boiling water of salt and let it boil for about 5 mins or until it’s nice and soft. (You would like to steam the broccoli you can do that too).
  2. Secondly we need to cut out the shapes from the ham, using the cherry blossom cutter. We need 16 pieces of cherry blossom flowers.
  3. Lastly we need to cut 16 pieces from the pasta stick. This will be used to keep the ham secured on to the broccoli. When you have all 16 pieces from the pasta, stick it in the middle of the ham like a stem of a flower and place on the broccoli where you desire. Then place in the bento box and your done.

Notes
* If you don’t have a sakura cutter, you can draw the flower on a tracing paper and cut that out and use a blade knife to cut the outline on the ham. If you would like to see a video of this, please let us know. We know that the cutter is not available in some countries.

There you have it.
