Chicken Hamburger with miso and perilla was something I saw on T.V. I knew this was something I wanted to taste as well as make. I just recently started enjoy eating perilla leave with different various foods and was one I haven’t tried, cause of the flavor of both the miso and perilla it made the chicken hamburger shine with the flavors. I took me a couple times to get this recipe right with it’s taste. I hope you enjoy this Japanese recipe.
- In a large bowl, add chicken hamburger, chopped onions, miso, soy sauce, potato starch, salt, and pepper. Make sure to mix all the ingredients well.
- Grab small portions of the hamburger and 1 shiso leave. Wrap the shiso leave around the hamburger like a taco and do that to the rest of hamburger.
- Pre-heat your stove to med and when ready add your hamburger pieces fry each side for 2 minutes. Then turn down the heat to medium-low. cover the frying pan and cook for 6 minutes.
- All done and ready to server.
