Taro Tumbles 里いものにっころがし

Serves: 4
- 400g Japanese Taro
- 1 cup dashi stock
- 1½ tbsp sake
- 1½ tbsp mirin
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1½ soy sauce
- Wash the taros in cold water, and peel.
- Place the stock, sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce and taro’s in a pot, and simmer.
- When the taros in the pot become tender, shake the pot while still simmering so that taros tumble around.
- Arrange the taros in a bowl.
