- ☆ For Pastry:
- 250g flour
- 125g soft butter
- salt
- water
- ☆ For Filling:
- 2 apples
- 50g butter
- 70g sugar
- ☆ Make to Pastry:
- Sift the flour into a mixing bowl, cut the butter into little pieces and rub into the flour with your fingertips. The texture should become like sand.
- Make a hollow in the center and add the salt and water, lightly flour your hands, mix ingredients, the pastry must not be too soft, knead dough until it becomes smooth.
- Roll into a ball and cover with wet towel on the dish to stop pastry drying out. Wait at least 30 min.
- ☆ Make to Filling:
- Pour half of sugar into a tart dish, and add the little pieces of butter on it. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into quarters.
- Arrange the apples in the dish, avoid empty spaces, add the rest of the sugar and butter, simmer the apples be careful and keep an eye on them to avoid burning. As the caramel begins to change color, turn off the heat.
- Lay out pastry, cut to the same shape as the tart dish, lay pastry on apples and close carefully, make some holes in pastry.
- Put in oven at 220℃ for about 20 min, turn out the tart on a dish.
